Weather Disaster Recovery

The surreal October 2011 Nor'Easter.

This week has been interesting – a Nor’easter in October!  After 6 days people are still without power.  I was lucky, the office was up and running without internet the day after the storm and we had internet the next day.  But it made me think: was my business ready for a disaster?  What if I was still without power?  How would the work get done?  Every company should have a Disaster Recovery Plan.  I’m going to start working on mine.  Here’s a place to start working on yours http://www.servpro.com/ready .  Hope you’re all safe and warm, and that life is slowly returning to normal.
